Motorized Driven Roller Conveyors (MDR) are versatile driven roller conveyor system that allows for the transport and control of light and medium-weight packages or products. MDR conveyors allow for individual control of packages within the system by controlling the conveyor in zones that correspond to the package sizes being transported. Each zone is made up of a 24vdc motorized roller driving multiple idler rollers and a logic controller. The zones can be controlled individually or in a group using an ethernet connection between the logic controllers. The zones can be turned on and off as the packages travel through the system to the final destination. This eliminates the need to power the entire system constantly, significantly reducing wear and power consumption.
