Motorized Driven Roller Conveyors
MDR or Motorized Driven Roller Conveyors are quickly becoming an industry standard for warehouses, distribution centers, postal sortation depots and a variety of other specially applications. The 24VDC systems utilize rollers with an integrated drive motor within the roller which drives coupled rollers throughout zones on the conveyor. The design of a MDR system affords a high degree of product control within the conveyor system and energy conservation over the life of the system due to its 24vdc operating voltage.
We are pleased to be able to offer you design options to handle a wide range of package configurations from small boxes and envelopes to skid and modular container handling systems and components.
MDR – 1916 Motor Driven Roller Conveyor
Motorized Driven Roller Conveyors (MDR) are versatile driven roller conveyor system that allows for the transport and control of light and medium-weight packages or products. MDR conveyors allow for individual control of packages within the system by controlling the conveyor in zones that correspond to the package sizes being transported. Each zone is made up of a 24vdc motorized roller driving multiple idler rollers and a logic controller. The zones can be controlled individually or in a group using an ethernet connection between the logic controllers. The zones can be turned on and off as the packages travel through the system to the final destination. This eliminates the need to power the entire system constantly, significantly reducing wear and power consumption.
